Preschool

Each child is unique and needs opportunities to learn, grow and develop skills that will last them the rest of their lives. Saint Lucas’ K3-K4 prekindergarten program wants to help create meaningful experiences for your little one. Our loving Christian teachers provide a hands-on learning environment based on multiple areas of childhood learning and development that will help them grow spiritually, academically, socially and emotionally, reaching far beyond the classroom. Childhood experts agree that attending a high-quality preschool that educates little children holistically helps set them up for future success. Most importantly, we embrace sharing a foundation grounded in Jesus, the one who walks with them each and every day.

Curriculum

Saint Lucas preschool offers so much more than a childcare center. Our warm and supportive environment, along with a thoughtfully designed curriculum, is dedicated to meeting each one’s individual needs. Our curriculum focuses on nurturing the growth and development of the whole child (spiritual, academic, social and emotional), supporting the way little ones actively learn, honoring the uniqueness of each. Together, we build the foundation of knowledge, skills, and character that will guide them toward success both in school and in life.

Teaching Staff

The staff of the Saint Lucas preschool is a group of loving and dedicated individuals who prioritize the safety and well-being of each child. Our preschool teaching staff averages over 25 years of educational experience. We support student development and growth in the classroom through dedicated support staff in each room. Our staff seeks to partner with you in the loving care of your child.

Preschool FAQs

What do your teachers require of my child in order to enter preschool?2024-02-26T14:26:50-06:00

No worries! Most skills 3 and 4-year-olds need to learn are acquired within their preschool year, right in the classroom. What our teachers do require is that a child coming into the classroom be completely potty trained, well out of pull-ups for daytime and naptime so that the focus can be on learning and playing without the distraction of training, or the time changing out of ‘accidents’ takes away from those precious moments.

What kind of schedule does your preschool offer? What if my child is ready for only half days, or I would just like them to learn and play with other children a few mornings a week?2024-02-26T14:27:16-06:00

Build-your-own preschool program! Combine whole days and mornings ~ whatever works best for your child’s social, emotional and physical stamina, and your family’s schedule. Please be mindful that if your family qualifies for the School Choice program beginning in K4, 3 full days (not made up of halves) is the minimum in order to meet state requirements.

What is tuition for preschool?2024-02-26T14:27:42-06:00

A very understandable question! Tuition depends on the schedule you put together; please see our Tuition page for details. For the 53207 area, our preschool offers one of the highest-caliber programs with every detail tailored to the 3- or 4-year old small person, at one of the lowest tuitions. Teachers who have on average 25 years of early childhood experience. Daily time with their peers, but partnerships with the ‘big kids’ on a regular basis. Care from morning curbside arrival to classroom to afternoon curbside departure. We think we offer a very high-quality program for your hard-earned dollar.

How do I go about paying tuition?2024-02-26T14:28:09-06:00

Our school partners with a tuition payment program (FACTS) that makes payment pretty painless. The payments are spread out over 10 months, and the amount monthly or bi-weekly drawn out of the bank account or credit or debit card you assign for use. Please see the Tuition page for details. If you’d rather, we gladly accept payment in full before the school year begins.
